Trapets is on a journey towards our mission to fight financial crime. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Director to generate new business growth, building new client relationships, and ensuring sustained revenue growth.
Trapets is a market leader in RegTech SaaS solutions for the financial industry, helping organizations prevent financial crime and ensure regulatory compliance. Our solutions enable advanced monitoring across KYC, AML, and market and trade surveillance, including the detection of insider trading and market manipulation.
About the Role at Trapets
As Sales Director – Nordics, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition and revenue growth, primarily within the financial services industry. Your focus will be on generating new business for our Market and Trade Surveillance solution, expanding our market presence, and developing long-term client relationships.
You will play a key role in Trapets’ continued growth and work closely with peers across Sales, Product, and Professional Services. You will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and be based at our head office in Stockholm.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Experience & Background
10+ years of B2B solution sales experience, preferably within complex technology solutions targeting companies within financial markets and trading services.
New Business & Sales Leadership
Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities from prospecting through to close.
Drive a solution-selling approach that aligns customer needs with Trapets’ offerings.
Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders at both operational and strategic levels.
Proven Commercial Track Record
Demonstrated success in driving new business growth, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and managing complex sales cycles.
Strong commercial mindset and business acumen.
Communication & Influence
Excellent presentation, product demonstration, and negotiation skills.
Ability to clearly articulate complex regulatory and technology concepts to senior decision-makers.
Sales Process & Data-Driven Mindset
Solid understanding of structured enterprise sales processes and tools.
Experience with data-driven sales execution; training in MEDDICC, SPICED, or similar methodologies is a strong plus.
Industry Knowledge
Good understanding of regulatory compliance, surveillance, and financial crime challenges within the financial markets and trading industry, enabling credible and value-driven positioning of our solutions.
